Which part should I cut out to make it look like a picture of Tokyo? In order to clear this theme, I spent a considerable amount of time researching books about Tokyo. In conclusion all I found out was that it was an impossible task. However the creator of "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo", Hiroshige Utagawa"s saying, "To see from another 's point of view is not a bad thing" drew my attention. With the insight's of Hiroshige's works, I covered all 119 places that was painted in "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" with my bicycle. Two and a half years after making the concept, I painted modern Tokyo.
Biography
Born June 6, 1975, Tokyo. Painter. The title "painter" does not describe his whole chareacter. In 2012, he moved his base from Tokyo to Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, where he had no connection.
In recent years, he has traveled all over the country like an enka singer, continuing to present his works, and devoting his whole body to "Hitookoshi" instead of "Machiokoshi". Therefore, the place where Umino is located is considered to be the most interesting place in Japan now.
His favorite style is "to produce with the greatest common divisor that can only be done there." His main painting materials are "paints" and "people". He paints on canvas and draws a town with people. He calls himself a "painter", including the color of the town.
In addition to the name of "Takahiko Unno", in recent years he has been focusing on unit activities. He is also active as a unit "camp" with Iwamoto Jiro, a unit "fashionable brothers" with Yoshinaga gender, Tori Kudo, and a band "TKCY" with Yamanaka camera. There are various ways of expressing them, such as paintings, murals, live performances, project production and direction, title titles, manga coloring, sculpture, outdoor setting, writer production, lectures, writing, movies, TV / CM appearances, etc.
